5 Fitness Tips that you will Never Follow

The more I write for a living, the more I am aware that we are constantly barraged with fitness tips. “5 ways to improve …” or “These fitness hacks will …” or “6 supplements that can transform … “. There is nothing wrong with this at all (I’ve written about 200).

But I cannot remember the last time I saw someone in the gym who said that the reason they got their results was that they followed an article. It’s frustrating to think that there are over 10 million articles on fitness tips out there yet most people are just making it up as they go along!

The thing is I know why this happens, there is TOO MUCH info out there. You get overwhelmed, I get overwhelmed too! What I’ve found to work best for my clients is telling them to do things but keeping it as simple as possible. They don’t need to know the top 10 most useless supplements, they just need to know that Creatine can help them lift more. They don’t need to know why flexible dieting works. Just that eating cheesecake once in a while is perfectly acceptable.

I promised you 5 fitness tips that you’ll never follow and I would hate to be accused of clickbaiting you So here they are:

  1. Deadlifts and squats are the 2 best exercises there are
  2. Triceps and Biceps respond best to heavy weights
  3. Conjugated Linoleic Acid doesn’t have enough evidence behind it to be worth buying
  4. Foam rolling has no effect on DOMS or flexibility (but is still worth your time)
  5. Skin tight leggings on men should be classed as a war crime

Now go forth and use this info

Or fill out the following form

And I’ll just tell you what to do until you get that six pack you always wanted

Sound fair?
