Over the past few months I’ve written a couple of running articles for WatchFit.com and I thought I would share them here. They cover the subject of which type is better, sprinting or long distance? And whether Altitude Masks are a good idea or not. Now I know that Altitude Masks aren’t exclusively used for running, but it is probably the most common exercise performed whilst wearing them!
Article One. Sprinting vs Long Distance Running
So in this article I compare the two most common forms of running, discussing their individual benefits, and downsides. Before concluding which one is the superior. The article looks into calories burned per minute exercise, the risk of injury associated with both, and their effects on fat loss.
Article Two. Can Altitude masks replicate Altitude training?
This article focuses on the latest sensation that is hitting gyms world wide, altitude masks. It describes how they work, and why people where them. The article also looks into what altitude training is and whether altitude masks can actually replicate it in a gym setting. Finally, the article looks into whether altitude training is worthwhile in the first place, if you’re not an athlete do you really require the extra 1% that altitude training could give you? And would your time and effort be better placed doing something else?
So, let me know what you think about these two articles and whether you enjoyed them or would like your half hour back!
