Ever have that voice in your head telling you not to bother going to the gym today? Your success could depend on what you do with that advice
I’ve always been a bit of an up and down person. I’m not talking Bi-polar or anything, but I have days where I am full of confidence, and days where I am low on energy.
On those days, I get that little voice in my head, telling me to just give up on plans. Or more often the voice tells me to postpone my plan for another day.
“How about you workout tomorrow instead mate, and that way you can stay plugged into netflix for another hour”
“Let’s not bother with any work tonight mate, you’ll have much more time tomorrow”
The most irritating phrase that I ever hear from my clients. And my bloody brain uses it against me every time!
That’s why I understand where my clients are coming from when they tell me that “Yesterday was a complete write-off food-wise”.
That’s also why I work with them to ensure that this doesn’t keep happening. That voice inside your head may not want you to go to the gym tonight, but it sure as hell will kick you when you’re down about how you look in the mirror!
