The Worst Movie Of All Time

This Sunday I witnessed the worst movie of all time, I was at a friend’s house and after dinner we decided to watch something on the tv – and we happened to stumble on “Will and Kate: The Movie”. It was horrific, now I’m sure Will and Kate have had an interesting life but not movie-interesting. What has this got to do with getting in shape you ask?

Well, the movie lasted 87 minutes and the four of us watched all of it. And I am fairly positive that there is not a person reading this that hasn’t wasted a similar amount of time on something equally ridiculous! Be it a stupid film that you “Only watched ironically” or on a pointless iphone game etc …

The 2nd Most common Excuse

Whatever it was that you were spending your time on keep it in mind whilst you read the following sentence. The second most common reason people tell me that they are not in shape is that they don’t have the TIME to train. They have a job, a family, some pets, a huge social life or a combination of all four and they feel that they couldn’t possibly fit any time in for training. Which is bullshit!

You have time to train, you just don’t have the motivation. You’re not willing to sacrifice something (i.e. movie nights, going clubbing, a child etc ) for training. Which is fair enough, I will not judge you. I just can’t HELP you. Nobody can. Because you don’t want to be helped – that’s why you got defensive when I pointed out that you could find the time if need be.

If you do want to make a change, and you can find the time (in between Will & Kate movie marathons). Then click the below link and fill out an application form:

It will take some time out of your day to fill in. But it will be worth it. A year from now when you’re sitting half naked on a beach And looking the best you ever have.

P.S. This is a recreation of an email I sent in June 2015, and you can probably see the difference in my writing style. Back then I was more aggressive in my approach, because I was tired of hearing the same excuses again and again. These days I’m another year older, and another year more experienced as a trainer/writer. I don’t disagree with my former self, which is why I have re-written this post – I also still believe fervently that Will & Kate is the worst movie of all time! If you can think of a movie that is more deserving of the title “Worst Movie of All Time” then please mention it below in the comments – Matt

P.P.S. Please don’t sacrifice a child – I was only joking!
